About C.C.M.
The association is a non-profit organization established to foster the development of girls fastpitch softball in the area of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The association exists to fulfill the girls fastpitch softball needs of the community and is the sole sponsor of the Cumberland County Magic tournament team program. The association supports good sportsmanship and the sound development of softball fundamentals within the community to ensure that girls participating in the program will have a positive and rewarding experience that will maximize personal growth and foster team success. The association requires quality coaching and provides an atmosphere for learning softball skills for both coaches and players.
The objectives of the association are:
To encourage, promote, and support girls fastpitch softball in the Cumberland County area.
To provide opportunities for the development of the skills of both players and coaches by sponsoring clinics, practices, scrimmages, camps and competition against the very best softball programs in the Middle Atlantic region.
To organize girls fastpitch softball teams representing the Cumberland County area in tournament play for all age groups.
To support all girls fastpitch softball organizations in the area.
To cooperate and work closely with Recreation Departments and School Athletic Departments, especially, the Big Spring, Carlisle, Cumberland Valley, Shippensburg and South Middleton School Districts.
